Vehicle Description
I'm selling my beloved 1987 Westfalia Vanagon with 2.5L Subaru engine conversion.
This westy has 202,000 miles on it, but the engine has about 50,000 miles on it and runs beautifully.
The interior is clean and well kept. I have always changed the oil and taken it in regularly to Peace Vans for maintenance. I will be very sad to part with this van!
I have spared no expense in upgrading this van, with over $31,000 of upgrades:
- Subaru 2.5L Engine conversion ($20,000)
- Dual leather Recaro seats! ($4,000)
- All-Terrain Suspension Bundle - General Grabber Tires, FOX Shocks ($2637)
- GoWesty Plate Steel Bumper Set ($1300)
- Propex Heater ($900)
- Heavy Duty Truck Mirrors ($500)
- 3-Point Retracting Seat Belt ($200)
- 2" Mattress Topper - Lower Bed ($240)
- Blazecut Fire Suppression System ($135)
- LED Headlights Kit ($349)
- GoWesty Bigger Brakes Kit ($560)
- Bumper Mounted Swing-Away System ($329)
- Heavy Duty Pop Top Load Assist Kit ($152)
- Front Skid Plate ($149)
- GoWesty Cruise Control ($429)
- ARB Touring 2500 Canopy ($419)
- Sunbrella Tent upgrade ($379)
- Yakima Skybox
- Yakima Crossbars
- New Stereo and Speaker system!
- Custom LED lighting inside!
- Side ladder for easy roof access!
You will not find a Westy like this ever. This is a unicorn among Westfalias :)
There is some seam rust as you will see in photos. This occurs on every Westfalia ever made, and a quick google search will show you how this is just something you live with when you own a Westy.
The first photo in the list is old and has the old street tires on the van which I no longer have. I just love that pic so much I wanted to have it in the listing. The van currently has much beefier brand new off-road tires as you can see in other pics.
Please let me know if you have questions!
Thanks,
Kirk
