This is a very rare automatic LHD (American side) 1988 Land Rover Defender.
144,000 combined miles, now on the 2nd TD300 engine.
Recently I’ve pumped $6,000+ into the truck. Has a new automatic transmission imported from the UK, along with a brand new front driveshaft. Both installed by a Rover specialist outside of Nashville. NOTE: the install is still happening. The vehicle is currently around Brentwood/Franklin until the job is done.
There is also a new starter, with a two-stage process as a theft prevention measure. I spent a lot of time and money heat sealing and noise cancelling the Rover 90.
Creature comforts? Not many. This is a spartan military-style LR. No heat or A/C, though you could install. There’s room for a radio unit in the center console. Includes a CB radio.
Features military vinyl inward-facing bench seats in the back. Also has five large Firestone tires and wheels. Thousands of miles left on all the tires.
Custom LED lights in the front and back.
