Vehicle Description
For sale: 1988 Signature Series Lincoln Town Car
Color : Grey (>3 Months Old Paint)
Engine : 5.0 Liter Long Block (Needs replacing)
Interior : Very well cared for (New interior head liner), extremely clean seats and floors, non-smoker owner
Exterior : New Vinyl topping, gently used tires
Vehicle has an original 157,XXX miles on it. Unfortunately, the motor has recently been cooked due to the heater-core being bypassed. I had purchased this car a few months back to use it as my everyday driver.
Small things I had done to the car : fresh coat of paint (original color) from Fact-O-Bake, new interior lining and exterior vinyl heading from Penton’s Accessories, interior detailing, (6x) new Pioneer speakers with Bluetooth radio set, and general maintenance.
The car WILL start and drive, but will overheat after ~20 miles of driving.
The car drove excellent (brakes, transmission, suspension) and most of the “extra features” still were in tact (all interior lights, power locking trunk, electric adjusted seating). I’m asking for $1,000 (OBO) for the car itself for the non-mechanical work done to restore the vehicle. If I am unable to sell the car to a buyer, I will regrettably have to junk the vehicle for scrap metal.
If you have any questions about the “Grey Lady”, do not hesitate to contact me at show contact info via phone call or text message. Thank you for reading.
