With some regret i am listing my 1988 mitsubushi starion ESI-r for sale. This car runs, drives, and looks fantastic. Buy it and drive it home. I am a long time starion enthusiast and this is the nicest one I've evwr owned by far! (Have owned 6 of these) this car has very good shape SHP wheels, meaning the rear wheels are factory 9 inch wide and the front are 8 inch instead or 8/7 respectively. These wheels are very hard to find and are easily worth $1000+ on their own in today's market. This car also features the very rare, sought after tan leather interior. Usual colors are black or red. This car also has a factory sunroof with OEM sunroof storage bag (glass panel actually comes off the car and gets placed in trunk, its cool)
The car has very few needs, one being the factory temperature gauge has been disconnected I believe, because it doesnt register engine temp, however the car does NOT overheat at all.
Also could use new tires as the ones on it are very healthy tread wise, but i believe they are older tires.
There are some mods done to this car, including a blow off valve, metal intercooler piping, tie rods/bushings, etc. Will share whole list with serioue buyer. It also has a brand new Jasper engine that was professionally rebuilt and installed by previous owner about 2000 miles ago.
It is VERY hard to find a starion in anywhere close to this condition. It does not leak ONE DROP of any fluids. This is not your typical 2000 dollar car thats limping down the road, missing half its interior pieces, and has no paint left on it. This is a clean, head turning, daily driveable vehicle.
