Vehicle Description
FOR SALE: Mint Condition 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback
Naples, Florida Great condition Fiero with WS6 factory performance
package. The car is in its original glory. 1988 was the last
year of the model and the car got some major changes
and upgrades that year. Unlike the 1986 and 1987 GTs
with their outdated flimsy suspension and brakes, the 88
got fatter swaybars, new arms and most importantly
better disk brakes. It makes it the most desirable of the
series. It is a collector car, fetching more and more
money every year. They are getting pretty hard to find in
a decent and original condition, just check around to see
what's out there for Fiero GT ads. Mine is a better
example if not one of the best.
The car has low miles (around 70K) and is ready to go.
New brakes, exhaust, cooling hoses, battery, Good Year
performance tires, floor matts etc. It currently has an
aftermarket Grant steering wheel, but I have an original
leather steering wheel to include with the sale. Power
everything (that was available that year). The car is an
easy ticket to a car show. It has a FL antique plate on it
with a fresh registration/ title on my name.
This car is very reliable and could be used as a daily
driver if desired. In fact, I take it out for a short scenic
drive every week or so. It is pretty quick and steers great,
thanks to its mid engine setup. In the car world, Fiero GT
is known as a poor man's Ferrari (not sure if it is a good
nickname for it, but it surely describes the car's nature
and character). The only mid engine US made car to
date. If you know Fieros, you will like this one.
The price is more or less firm. I would consider CLOSE
offers though. I have no particular need to sell, other than
the fact that I have some new restorations on the way in
the future. Please do not bother me unless you are really
considering this car for purchase.
