NO STUPID LOW OFFERS
5 speed 4x4 trucks don't exist anymore.
Up for sale I have a 1989 Chevrolet k1500 pickup truck project/ woods truck/ beater scrapper extraordonair.
It starts and runs and drives when it wants to.
It's got a 350 V8 and a 5 speed manual transmission.
The GOOD:
it has exhaust headers on it, I believe they were summit racing.
It has a new clutch and throw out bearing I put in it a year ago.
Fuel pump was replaced 2 years ago
A new water pump, new clutch slave cylinder new clutch lines.
New starter, new computer, new distributer, plugs and wires, It has had a bunch of small dumb things replaced in the past 4 or so years I've owned it. I have a pile of receipts somewhere.
THE BAD:
Hasn't been inspected since 2018
I parked it last fall because it started over heating on me. It probably needs a head gasket.
It also started giving me trouble going into gear once it's warmed up and driven for a while. It might just be the clutch line needs to be bled.
Front differential doesn't lock up when you put it in 4x4
The body has dents and damage. It's been Rust-Oleum roll on painted a couple years ago. The rust on the bed wheel arches was cut out back then and cheep sheet metal patches were rivited in place.
The driver's door handle doesn't work from the inside, and the hing bushings are broken so the door sags and scrapes.
The hood has dents from being slammed open while moving it.
It needs front tires at least.
Interior is dirty and the seat is ripped.
The odometer broke before I got it.
Suspension hasn't been replaced since I've owned it.
Overall it needs a lot of work to be a daily driver again, but because of all the new parts I don't wanna see it scrapped.
Someone could rebuild the 350 and do the body work and have a 5 speed ripper or jack it up.
