Vehicle Description
Looking into selling my 89 Chevy half ton. With 109,000 miles on it. It is an older build, and has a completely 90's style going. It is a very solid truck. not driven during the winters, but basically daily driven during the summer. So, solid rust free cab corners, rockers etc. 350tbi, and 700r4. Drive train is fairly stock and reliable. But sounds MEAN! Gibson headers, and custom short exhaust with side dump exit through the box. Its the best sounding thing I have in the garage!
The truck is on a full AirRide Technologies suspension (now known as RideTech) including a 4 link rear setup. One pump, 3 tanks, 2 switches (front and rear, both with their own dual needle gauge) The truck will lay the frame on the ground. And is sitting on 17x9.5 and 17x11 vette wheels (which have center caps even though not shown in some of the pics). has a molded in rear rollpan, and smoothie chrome front bumper. smoothed tailgate with handle flipped to the inside, and some of the pictures also show a flush mount tonneau cover that is included as well. As can be seen in the pics, the truck does have a full floor, and wasnt just left chopped open with a big hole. so it can still do some truck things... I've hauled some of my motorcycles with it. (dropping the back, and raising the front makes it very nice to load something in the back, lol!)
Interior has been kept pretty stock minus the install of the gauges and switches. As well as a split bench out of a 97 chevy.
I cruise it pretty low normally, with the tires just started to tuck up in the fenders a bit. but road conditions obviously dictate that a little lol.
It got a good tune up over the summer, and has been a blast to cruise
(and seems to get more notice then all my other toys!) Everyone comments on how tough the truck looks and sounds running down the road at my normal ride height.
It is not a show truck (i mean sure you could show it and people would like it just the way it is, but it does have some scuffs/chips, and a few small dings. but if you really wanted to go that route, it wouldnt take much except a light repaint.
But Just the way this thing sits, I would drive it anywhere and have been, while enjoying the hell out of it!

Asking $11,000 obo for it.
