Vehicle Description
Hi. Listing is for a 1989 WS6 Formula Firebird. I have had the car over 25 years, (sold to a friend once and bought back). I have had it in storage (inside) for the last ten years, wanting to restore it to its former glory, but time and money are not working in my favor, and I’d rather see it on the road. The good.... it’s a real WS6 formula, with its correct hood, interior, and gauges. Pretty damn decent interior, a half ass cleaning and it will look great. Fuel pump went out after long storage, so that is new. Car presents well, and a bit of love would go a long way. It runs, and runs pretty well. The bad... it’s been sitting ten years. The tires are trash, bald and suck. They will hold air for a few days though. Has all its formula specific wheels, although two? I believe are curbed. It runs, and pretty good, but should have the older gas run out or drained. It’s about two years old. The headlights still flip up, but the passenger side one is not engaging the headlight door. There is a spare included. The headliner is falling, like every other GM vehicle from almost 40 years ago. The factory and heavy formula spoiler is there, although it’s probably internally rusty at this point and junk. The correct air cleaner is missing at this point, although it may turn up. All in all, an easy car to fix up, looks pretty good, was fast in its day, but I just have to move on. The car needs to be trailerd, like I said, been sitting a long time. Would need a little tic to be on the road, but not much. If your serious and want to talk about the car and see it, a call is best. Please don’t send me my own ad and ask if it’s for sale, or try and lowball me before you come see it. At least come see it before you lowball me, and if I say no, both of our time has been wasted! Lol. Thanks for reading.
