Vehicle Description
Behold, the battle wagon. This is my 1989 Ford Country Squire LX Wagon built for the gambler 500 (three time veteran) turned into a wonderful off road fun machine. She has been lifted 4 inches and been put on TOYO 33x12.5 mud tires. Exhaust has been rebuilt into side stacks and then changed to side pipes recently. One pipe is currently off the car due to a fight with a rock (the rock one but we can call it a tie), but it goes back on pretty easy or you could straight pipe it if its not your style.
DMV registration and plates are good until August 2022 and she is completely street legal! Gets 9-13 MPG depending if you drive like a madman off road. Under the totally real carbon fiber hood is a Winsdor V8 that puts out a whopping 150 some horsepower to the automatic 4 speed and RWD. She's built like a truck so it would be a fun conversion to AWD or 4WD. She's got a 32in 180W light bar on top (jk this was stolen by a crackhead last week) as well as a PA system and CB Radio/Antenna setup already wired in. The solar panel is sadly gone as it was stolen of the top a few months ago. Aftermarket stereo with aux and charging, powered seats, super comfy and drives like a literal boat. Has an extra 32in spare that isn't on a tire yet but is included. ATV permit good till 2021. Also includes a bull bar/brush guard I never installed.
Now for some of the bad/weird. First off the fuel gauge does not work, but its got a trip odometer so I've always filled it to the top and reset the trip. She gets around 180-200 miles per tank. The transmission is a little funny at lower RPM but once its warmed up it doesn't give me too many issues. Windshield has a crack on the passenger side but it doesn't go all the way through. Comes with a bunch of weird stickers on the back you can remove or keep, but I think they're part of the charm. Currently has a kayak rack installed you're also welcome to keep. Odometer says 89k but it's likely rolled over at least once (old school goes only to 99,999) so it's probably actually at 189k.
Some warnings: you will get a lot of looks with this car and you'll have to fight off woman with a pipe. Old people love this, kids love this car, cops have mixed feelings on this car. Clean title! All paperwork has been done so all you'll need to do is a title transfer and don't have to worry. I've got lots more pics and info if you're interested! Hope you love her as much as I do, and I'm really sad to sell her but I bought a 'normal' car.
