Vehicle Description
We're parting with our beloved F150 from 1989. XLT Lariat, 2wd, short bed. 5.0 liter V-8 engine.
I wish we could keep it but we need to buy a new commuter car, so we sadly have to let the truck move onto it's next home. It's in great condition and will definitely make the next owner super happy. We're only the 2nd owners, bought it 3-4 years ago from the original owner who had it garaged kept since the day he drove it off the lot in 1989. He babied this truck for 30 years. Everything is original down to the floor mats. Still runs perfectly.
Only has 109,900 miles on it. Aesthetically in close to mint condition, besides a couple of interior scratches in the dash.
The original canopy from day one is still on it, the door broke off this summer, we didn't get around to replacing it yet ourselves.
We've kept up with all of the standard maintenance and oil changes since we bought the truck, trying to keep it in as good of condition as it was sold to us in. Here are some of the bigger updates we made since owning it:
New serpentine belt and battery in 2019.
New entire break system; rotors, drums, pads, shoes and cylinder in 2020.
New top end in 2020; replaced distributor, wire set, spark plugs, rotor and rotor cap, and fuel/air filters.
New tires in 2020.
We have paperwork for all of this work.
Please reach out if you're interested and/or have any other questions. $7,000 OBO
