Vehicle Description
1989 Jaguar XJS convertible
This car has been through several owners, however, at least 2 of the 7 were dealers simply moving it on.
This car has only 94,000 miles and has been with the current owner for nearly ten years, always garaged and always well maintained.
There is no accident history however it is known that the car has been repainted just before this owner purchased the car.
Within the last 3 years the car has rec'd all new oil seals over the top and bottom of the V12, all rubber hoses under hood have been replaced, tires, battery and rear calipers are new and the rack and pinion was pulled and rebuilt.
The V12, auto transmission and rear end are all original/numbers matching to this car.
The seats in her are starting to get tired but can easily be saved with some ColorPlus or Leatherique, the rest of the interior is in very good shape. The paint looks great and with just a little attention, will look even better. There is no rust or rot anywhere under this car and there is a very small spot bubbling in the left rear wheel well.
The car runs and drive beautifully and and does not suffer the somewhat prevalent overheat issues.
The power top operates easily however a relay for one of the rear windows isn't operating and the window does not come back up when the top is being raised. The top does have a tear that has been repaired, it does not leak.
The interior is all leather and the seats are power and heated. The car has all the usual Jaguar bells and whistles, A/C (needs a recharge), tilt wheel, power windows, cruise control and power top.
This great grand touring convertible can be had for just $7000
Any questions, to schedule a time to see her, for many more photos or make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for the interest.
