Vehicle Description
Hello,
For sale is a '90 Dodge Daytona ES 3.0L V6. Car is from Colorado originally and is still technically a 1-owner vehicle. Never seen road salt. The original owner passed away, and the family donated the car to auction with no title, so it doesn't have a title. It is possible to get a bonded title in Iowa (easy, but takes 3 years), and there is another way that's much quicker that I could discuss with you if you're interested in the car. I had no problem getting insurance and registration for it and have had it for about a year and a half now.
The car runs and drives reliably. On the long trip home, I was getting over 28MPG going around 70MPH which indicates to me that the engine is in good shape. I replaced the window tape on both sides, so both power windows now function properly. Also has a brand new 7-year battery from Blaine's.
Problems:
>I scraped the side of a garage which removed previous bondo work, but didn't do any additional damage (see pic)
>Transmission developed a whining noise recently, I suspect it needs a new clutch/bearing set.
>Interior is fairly beat up with cracking, cigarette burns from first owner etc.
All in all, this car would make a great project or a fantastic parts car. I've got more invested in it than I'm asking, so my loss is your gain. Comes with some new parts and all factory service manuals as well.
Call or text Chris @ 3one9-4two9-4one2five if interested. Thanks!
