PROJECT K5 Chevy Blazer / GMC Jimmy - This classic and rare K5 square body, with a 350 small block, 4x4, has been a Slow-build restoration. Shipped from mainland, its spent its entire life in Salinas, CA and Longview, WA. GM used galvanized steel in these late models, therefore has very little rust.

Body is straight and clean, no dents, dings or bondo patches. Almost stock with original motor and matching numbers. Lots of the hard resto work has already been done while being a daily driver.

*Body off-frame, replaced stock rubber body mounts with new poly race versions and grade 8 bolts. Zero rust on frame. Truck feels solid and stiff.

*New transmission (stock tranny installed by a pro shop).

*Rebuilt stock TDI fuel injection with new gaskets and high pressure spring. Brand new race performance iridium spark plugs, 8mm wires, distributor, and rotor, getting 14/mpg.

*After-market headers and dual exhaust breathes well and sounds unreal.

* New radiator and hd fan clutch.

*Recent new steering pump and all new high pressure lines installed. Have new pitman arm extension for lifted trucks waiting for install. May still need new steering gear box.

* 35s Owls on 15 inch steelies.

*4 inch skyjacker lift. Have brand new rancho shocks x4 not yet installed.

* Carpet pulled, rust spots treated and cut out. Was planning to Linex floor pan before installing new carpet/sound kit.

* Have many brand new parts waiting for install, including new dashboard, and police-duty brake rotors and pads.

Recent head gasket job is causing oil and fuel leak, need to redo and time. Otherwise has run great for years with zero issues, zero leaks. Used all synthetic fluids 100% - oil and trans fluid. Lots of punchy power of this great small block 350.

This is a great, clean and original K5, mostly restored with a few last items to do before paint. I don’t have time and money to complete and need a commuter car for new job.
