Vehicle Description
Hello CL.
I rebuilt my Mercedes-Benz about 7 years ago (at approximately 150,000 mi).
- Engine overhauled with new head gasket, valves, etc.
- Transmission was re-sealed (didn't need a rebuilding), the good thing about this transmission is this is one of the most reliable automatic transmission Mercedes ever built.
- Steering is fully rebuilt with all new parts, except a hydraulic part which functions as it was designed.
- Good high quality shocks
- A/C works properly, fully charged
- Heater is disconnected to increase car's reliability
- A Shield was built under Engine to protect an Engine Oil Pan.
- A Brand new Catalytic converter was installed in September of 2018.
- New Motor Mounts and a Transmission Mount (November of 2018).
- Transmission serviced and engine oil changed.
- New brake pads all around (February of 2022)
- New auxiliary electric cooling fan, left (February of 2022)
- All windows operate properly.
- Interior is very, very nice.
- Paint is not perfect and clear coat is gone in some parts of the body but original (see pictures).
- Right rear door is stuck closed, needs work (lock needs some greasing).
- Has been registered as Non-Op and been in storage since 2020.
The car is running solid.
Thank you for looking.
