Vehicle Description
1990 944S2 Cabriolet TRIPLE BLACK 3.0L 236HP
VERY UNIQUE – ONE OF A KIND
Mileage:
Chassis 114,000
Engine 41,000 original replaced with complete reseal
at 36,000 – 3.0L 968 engine and brain.
I have owned the car for since May 2002. In the last 4 years
it has traveled less than 100 miles. It’s a blast to drive and
gets a lot of looks. Inexpensive fun!!!
It had a front end replaced after an accident prior to my ownership. I bought it with 44,000 miles and drove it daily
for 6 years. At 105,000 miles I started the upgrade process noted below.
Updates:
Sachs clutch and pressure plate
Water pump
Direct cone air intake
Turbo radiator
Griffiths power steering pump
Griffiths Kuehls R134a A/C compressor and components
Convertible Top and boot replaced at 70k in great shape - power removed.
Kokelin short shift
Koni Sport rear shocks
Koni Cup adjustable front shocks
Racers Edge camber plates
Falkin Azenis tires
Recaro Profi II adjustable seats on both sides
Schroth Racing 5 point seat belts - (AIR BAGES REMOVED)
Rear seat delete – obtained from the UK
Stainless steel door sills with Porsche Crest
MOMO competition steering wheel with quick release
Custom double loop roll bars
Custom stationary head lights – (power mechanism removed)
Euro fog lights
Alpine Stereo/CD Player/ipod connection
What is not working or needs work:
Digital clock

Fuel gauge not reliable after ½ point
Cigarette lighter
Lighted passenger side door lock
Front and rear seals have minor leaks (yes, they were replaced with the reseal). Sitting around never helps
Porsche seals. Nothing on the garage floor.
