Vehicle Description
RARE FIND
1990 VW Vanagon - 155k on body, 35k on Subaru conversion
OVER $20k and 100's of hours spent on restoration and conversion - Just needs new paint job and a/c hooked up.
It’s time for me to sell Kevin, my beloved van. Feel free to rename her if you need to. I drive this van to NH and Maine for weekend trips and I drive it to work occasionally. I just had the whole dash apart to replace the heater core, blower, and seals and installed a propane tank and undercarriage propane heater which keeps it toasty all night no matter how cold it gets and doesn’t create any fumes. I have a set of snow chains in the van and it’s ready for winter adventures but I’ve found a 4x4 camper option that I’m going to invest in so I have to let Kevin go.
This Van spent most of its life in Arizona and didn’t have any rust on it before I brought it to New England in 2016. There is still no substantial rust but the frame seams should be resealed and it should get a fancy new paint job, she deserves it.
This van drives and sounds amazing
