Used 1991 BMW e30 318i Convertible Manual w Hard & Soft Tops Cloth Interior for sale in Alameda, CA

You have until Monday October 28, 2019 if you want to buy this. After that it will be stored in a secure garage. That's less than one week.

It's clean title low mileage, glacier blue metallic with a dove gray cloth interior. It has the awesome M-42 4-cylinder motor mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Lots of people tend to hide issues etc. I'm not like that, here's a full list of issues that you may or may not care about. It's everything I know about this vehicle. You are welcome to low ball, but it's best if you make it entertaining, since I'm going to ignore low-ball offers anyway and at least that way it won't be a total waste of our time.

• Dash has one small crack that wouldn't be visible to you unless I pointed it out.
• Window switches need to be replaced or rebuilt--I can make them work but in some cases it's on the 10th try.
• Neither top is water proof--both of them leak where the A-pillars connect.
• The soft top needs to be replaced.
• The driver's door lock does not work.
• Car needs an alignment.
• Muffler has a hole in it, making things loud and exciting.
• Original paint in good condition with the occassional scratch and scrape--somwhere between a 7 to low 8 out of 10.
• Cloth passenger seat and rear seat are coming apart in select areas.
• Fuel guage is intermittent and dodgy, likely needs a new sender.
• No keys for roof rack.
• No owners manual
• Redacted photocopies of vehicle records prior to my ownership in 2017.
• Needs shock absorbers.
• Brakes squeak.
• Steering rack occasssionaly makes noise at extremes when parking.
• Window alignment isn't perfect with either top.

Like I said, not holding back anything. Here are some other points that you may consider highlights:

• Car spends most of it's time garaged indoors and only comes out to drive a week or two every 2-3 months.
• Odometer works!
• Has a CD head unit installed with USB input. (I do not have the original.)
• I have the factory hardtop tool (for tightening adjusting).
• Correct size tires recently replaced.
• Recent brake replacement and belt replacement.
• Recently passed smog (~3 months ago)

Ordinarily I wouldn't list this. It probably needs about $15k and a bit of my time to get it where I would like it, but that is not an option for me at the moment, which is why I'm offering it for sale. If you know e30s, you know this one is unusual for having a cloth interior, both tops, and in-tact plastics without warping etc. It's not a museum car, but it is really damn nice.
