Vehicle Description
Excellent Cadillac with a fresh tune-up for sale. This car has been my daily driver for 8 years. We have 5 cars, though, so we are finding it a new home. Essentially all of the parts that usually need maintaining on a vehicle have just been replaced. All new NGK spark plugs, on a fairly difficult vehicle to access. All new factory oem ACDelco spark plug wires. New ACDelco distributor cap and rotor. New Fram PCV valve. New ACDelco washer fluid pump. New factory oem cam position sensor/hall effects switch. New ACDelco battery in February. Less than 4k on all four new brake pads, rotors, and hoses. New oem Factory ACDelco serpentine belt in April. Tires are 60-70% tread left. It does not have the unreliable Northstar headgasket bolts. I would never purchase a 1993-2005 Cadillac with a Northstar engine for this reason alone. Doesn't matter how pretty they are. We are talking about reliability. The engine is great. 4.9 liter V-8. I use Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic Blend every 3k miles. Fresh engine oil and filter change 2 miles ago. The transmission fluid was flushed along with the changing of the filter and gasket 40k miles ago. Nice bright red fluid and it shifts very smoothly. They recommend that the fluid be changed every 100k in the manual, so you have a ways to go. Has an aftermarket cd player. Drives expertly in the snow, because of the weight of the steel exterior. Like a tank. Better than some AWD vehicles. Perfect winter beater. There is NOTHING that this car NEEDS to get you around. To be fair, there are negatives, which is why I am selling it for $995 FIRM. Worn bushings are causing a rattling from the rear. Been doing it the whole 8 years. Never bothered me enough to fix it. Some cracks in the vinyl on the doors. Leather on the driver seat is worn. Rear seat is almost like new, though. Parking break is not functioning. Oil leaks about a quart every 3k. This is not a showroom-quality car. It has rust that I sprayed, because I thought white looks better than the rust. The furthest thing from a professional paint job, though. Driver-side fender has dented in it, though not from an actual automobile crash, I just absent-mindedly accidentally bent the door back. Door works fine, though. This car is so much more positive than bad, and is worth every penny. Comes with the vehicle manual, 2 sets of keys, and I will throw in the factory repair manual. The reliability of this car over the years is astounding. Call or text Kellen at 2six24two457one 4 to check it out. No trades, CASH ONLY. Do not ask what is wrong with it. If you can not read this entire ad, your problems far exceed that of needing a new cheap car. Thank you.
