Vehicle Description
It's a real Grandma Special. and in a very clean shade of Grandma Gold no less! 1991 Chrysler Imperial, low miles, beautiful condition exterior and interior for the age.
Fresh Virginia state inspection and brand new Uniroyal tires. Brand new fuel pump module.
The troublesome ABS system on these year Imperials is largely unfixable due to unobtaonium parts and so the previous owner replaced it with a standard power brake system. However, the front bumper fillers - plastic parts that disintegrate on their own over the years - are also unobtanium unfortunately and as you can see from the pictures are gone on this car. The bumpers are wonderful solid chromed steel though, no plastic here!
Pretty close to everything on this car works.
Power Windows (with driver's side auto-down)
Power Seats (with 2-position memory)
Air Conditioning (with automatic climate control)
Cruise Control
Power Antenna
Power Trunk Pull-Down
Headlight Covers
The car -does- have remote keyless entry and it does work-ish. You have to be fairly close to the car and hold the button down a bit sometimes.
The stereo works but not the best. There is a place you can send the head unit to that will refurbish it but I assume most people will want to get something more modern anyway (it's just tape and am/fm) so I haven't done that.
