Vehicle Description
1992 Ford F150 Pickup Truck. Bought it in 2013 and drove it a lot when I first got it. Its two wheel drive with power steering, Auto Trans, power windows and currently has 127K miles on odometer. New Tires about maybe 18 months ago. New battery and tune-up 2 months ago. Been sitting for last two years so when started last month ran good for a while then engine misses and stalls. Took it to local garage and they wanted to put a new engine in it. Can't afford to do that so might as well sell it.
Truck sat so long because I am in a wheelchair and couldn't drive. About two years ago I put on 4 new tires, new LED headlights and a new battery and tune-up just 6-8 weeks ago. Engine has good compression and fuel injectors seem to be working. Garage mechanic thinks it has a broken or stuck valve and didn't think worth an overhaul and just wanted to swap out for a new engine. Can't afford to do that on my pension.
