Vehicle Description
Beautiful, excellent condition Mercedes Benz 400se.
300k miles on the body, but you wouldn't know it unless you looked at the odometer.
80k miles on the engine.
Very fast and fun. I have too many vehicles and need to downsize.
Taking offers, after you come see it.
It does need some things. A/C needs to be recharged. Vacuum door assist close has a leak, which is fixable. Other than that, the radio doesn't work, but its fixable.
The original engine was 4.2L it had a burned valve, so I upgraded to a 5.0L
I did the 5.0L swap myself. I replaced suspension parts as needed. The engine swap went very smoothly.
I removed, disassembled the power steering gear box and resealed it. Its good to go now.
Many new parts. motor and trans mounts, drive shaft flex disks. Suspension parts, sway bar bushings, ball joints, upper A arms.
5.0L fuel injectors. Cruise control works. Rebuilt lower engine wire harness due to deteriorating wire insulation.
Ready to drive. It was my daily driver and garage queen.
Very minor fender damage was repaired. Car was in the body shop for a year. Its looking beautiful.
1 original remote key. 2 regular cut keys. All match. New matching key ignition cylinder installed.
Well maintained. Nice black leather. Very clean.
