Vehicle Description
I purchased this for $3500 in April of 17, to use as a secondary vehicle. After getting it home, I removed the old window tent and re-tented, and had a flow master and new exhaust and tips put on.
Both cab corners were rusted. The driver side was rusted though completely so i ordered new corners for both sides and had them installed, primed and resprayed. I had a new windshield put in, installed a bed liner. I replaced 1993 side mirrors with 1995 side mirrors. It has a 95 grill. Tires were worn so I put new 285 federals on it. They have exactly 6500 miles on them (that’s all the miles I’ve put on the truck since I’ve had it).
I pulled out seats and carpet, Clean carpet and re-dyed it. Put new dash cover in it, new radio, 10in sub and amp. Replaced all front and rear lights as originals were foggy (one small blinker cover is missing now.). I removed bed to install cab corners and cleaned up frame and coated it. Put new shocks on all fours. New interior door handle on driver side. Still have new one for passenger. Installed new door outside locks just because I wanted to have the only door keys. Got a new heater core, fuel sending units was new when I got the truck. Had local mechanic shop put in a brand new ac system (around $800 I think) needs to be recharged though. Replaced all belts and filter. Replace battery before winter of last year. New plugs, rotor cap and button installed.
Vehicle is mostly just drove around home but did take it on a trip to Hattiesburg and back.
When I got it it had paperwork for a recent dyno test that was good but truck uses a little oil.
Overall, it has been, and still is a good truck. It does have a few bumps and bruises that were on it when i got it but is priced for what it is. It’s also priced WAY less than the money I have put in it so price IS FIRM. Truck doesn’t have a toolbox.
I’m selling because I simply don’t drive it anymore since I got a new truck. That said, I’m not interested in trades although I might consider a trade on an automatic Jeep.
