Vehicle Description
For sale is our beloved 1993 4-door Ford Escort LX hatchback (aka ‘Red Racer’) which we’ve had for nearly 18 years…! It has been very reliable, and has been well maintained - including regular oil changes… The clutch was replaced less than 2 years and 4,000 miles ago, and new tires shortly thereafter (only about 3,000 miles of wear…) I also replaced the spark plugs and wires last summer… Has a pair of studded snow tires mounted on 13” wheels that come in handy in winter!
Despite a few ‘rough edges’, everything works (except the A/C), and the Manual 5-speed transmission been a very fun to drive. Given the age, I would say the car is in excellent condition. Clean inside and out. Take a look at the pictures, call me and come and see it for a test drive.
