Vehicle Description
Another Crawdaddy Classic Sleeper! This exact year/model/color/options/tow package just hammered at Barrett Jackson Las Vegas October 3 for $22,000. Buyers fees and taxes put the buyer at over $25,000. Mine is a whole lot less.
My business model is based on correctly picking sleepers and that's why I recently bought and restored three of these super cool wagons. Excellent examples have now moved from either side of $10k to either side of $20k. (I just sold another RM wagon for $18k in October). You get the functionality of a Tahoe or Expedition but the throwback hipness of a three seat wagon with the two-way tailgate. Because this era of full-size wagons ended over 20 years ago, they are now collectible classics and will continue to go UP in value, not down.
Stunning all-original wagon with very nice upgrades. Low 70k miles documented on clean Car Fax, no accidents. With regular maintenance these motors will easily do 250k miles or more. Clear Arizona title, ready to go, private sale, no tax. Hard to find one this clean because most of these wagons had high miles and show wear & tear from long family road trips and endless school/sports activities. This pristine example is just the opposite...it has been extremely well cared for, evident in the photos and also when you see it in person and drive it. It is definitely collector grade.

Car drives tight and right, brakes smooth and straight, virtually like a new car. It's like going down the road in a very fast, quiet living room. Body/paint is 9.5 of 10, original paint very glossy. Engine bay was recently detailed. Undercarriage also fully re-conditioned with fresh undercoating applied.
Final generation Roadmaster Wagons with the LT1 drive train are rapidly gaining popularity for both preservation and resto-modification. They are absolute sleepers in the marketplace, just beginning to rise in value. Now's the time.
