Vehicle Description
Chevy Astro AWD with 150k miles and traction tires. Engine and transmission are great! Shocks recently replaced! This thing is a tank.
Tow hitch with 2" ball.
The bad:
Every kind of cosmetic defect and blemish and inconvenience. Side and rear doors are damaged (not from wrecks), and for SEPARATE reasons THESE DOORS DO NOT CLOSE. The latch mechanisms on these vans are notoriously poor. I was going to install bolt and hatch locks from the inside but instead am selling it.
EGR valve is disconnected because engine was running unevenly. It may need to be replaced. Consequently the "Check Engine" light is on.
Passenger side view mirror is broken.
Turn signal lever broken.
AC does not work.
No speakers.
Almost all interior plastic has been ripped out, leaving just the frame.
This is literally a big metal box with a good engine and beefy wheels and some troublesome doors.
Engine and transmission can be used in the Chevy S-10, Chevy Blazer, or GMC Jimmy.
