The legendary 4.0 straight six puts out a ton of toque down low. The valve cover is leaky, but this engine is strong. Has a belt squeak that quiets as it gets warm. City mpg is 16-18 and highway is 21-24mpg
The ax15 transmission shifts smoothly every time.
The np231 transfer case has the capability of 4low which paired with the manual trans provides a massive amount of torque when you need it.
