Vehicle Description
1994 Ford Econoline E-350 formerly called “Clubwagon” or "Superwagon"
1 ton Passenger van converted into a 1 ton Cargo van
Van has less then 200,000 miles on it. It has a good Strong 351w engine and transmission. I myself have put several thousand miles on it and it has not leaked a drop of oil.
The big issue with this van it that it has an electrical problem/short that I have not yet been able to pinpoint. I am not a trained mechanic. All I can do is guess. A certified tech could probably fix this van.
When it runs, it runs at a high idle and something is causing the engine to die. After it dies it takes about 2 hours before it will run again.
I have replaced most of the engine related electrical components that I could think of like NEW TPS sensor, NEW mass air flow sensor, NEW temperature sensor, NEW oil pressure sensor, NEW starter, NEW alternator and NEW ignition switch. It has been suggested that the ECM should be replaced, after the short has been fixed.
It also has NEW spark plugs, NEW ignition wires, NEW distributer cap and NEW rotor button. The throttle body has been replaced along with the gasket. All of the dash light bulbs have been replaced.
It has good Strong Brakes and parking brake.
I have a brand new OBD II adapter on the OBD connector, but have not yet used it.
The A/C works but the condenser needs to be replaced. This sale INCLUDES a Brand NEW in the box replacement condenser.
All doors and windows open and close properly. All of the lights and signals work.
One of the rare things about this van, other then it having all of the original hub caps, is that it includes ALL of the Factory tire changing tools, stored in their proper place. However, the spare tire winch has a jammed cable and needs to be repaired or replaced if you want to store the spare wheel.
Other then the electrical issue, it will need new tires. It will also need transmission and rear-end Services. It has a good responsive front suspension except that the ball joints will need to be replaced, eventually.
When I last drove this van, the engine and transmission was Strong, the steering was responsive and the Brakes nearly “stopped on a dime”.
Last but not least, it has a New Fire extinguisher, First Aide kit and car stereo with FM and can play MP3s from SD card and USB thumb drive.
$600 or Best Offer. Cash Only.
Or will trade for a good working 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey transmission, or any year Chevy HHR
