1994 Pontiac Grand Am
Se 2dr 2.3L L4 SOHC
It's an okay car to get around the neighborhood with. Needs some work still, I need to get rid of it for a family car. The issue I've had consistently is the stalling occasionally. Other than that it's been a good car
Good:
- Overall good interior. No rips in the seats, headliner is mostly intact except for a small portion above the - windshield behind the passenger visor and it's missing the plastic coverings for the locks on both door panels.
- Runs and drives
- Clean SC title in hand
- Lots of new parts:
- New tires, AC clutch, and AC compressor Nov. 19
- New Spark plugs Feb. 20
- New fuel pressure regulator and hoses May. 20
- New fuel pump and fuel filter Sept. 20
- New idle air control valve Nov. 20
- Oil changed May 20 @ 117xxx miles
Bad:
- Needs both window regulators (off track) passenger window is still useable but is a pain to put back up. The driver's window is stuck in place.
- Needs a new engine mount, not a problem unless you're going over about 85 it starts to vibrate
- Has a stalling issue I can't figure out. It runs fine until you've been driving for more than about half an hour. I cleaned out the carbon filter and replaced the idle air cotrol valve with no luck. If you sit for about 5 minutes with the car off after it stalls it starts back up, I just let it run for a few more minutes and feather the gas before I try to move it.
- Does lock, but gets stuck sometimes so I avoid locking it
- Dent above front passenger tire
- No A/C
