Vehicle Description
'95 Corvette Coupe. LT1 350, Auto trans, 129,000 miles. Admiral Blue exterior, Light Gray interior. Option Group #1, blue glass roof, performance axle, power seat, Bose CD player. This car was elderly owned for most of its life and spent much of its life in Florida. The Admiral Blue paint has excellent gloss and the interior shows well for its age. The car has normal nicks and bumps for a 25 year old car with nearly 130,000 miles.
Nearly new $1,300 Michelin Pilot tires, recent plugs, wires, injectors, battery, fuel filter, hoses, belt, coolant flush, thermostat, and fresh Mobil 1 oil change. Professionally inspected this spring...front end tight, brakes good, etc.
Clean CarFax, clean title in my name.
We've put about 1,500 miles on the car this year and it's been very reliable and fun to drive. The car handles incredibly well, accelerates smoothly, has excellent power, and shifts quickly & quietly, like it should.
With that said, the car could use some TLC and a weekend's worth of work. The AC compressor turns on when charged, but has a leak in one of the aluminum lines, so AC does not work. Small crack in glass top. The tach doesn't work and the driver's power seat works, but doesn't always want to move forward. This wasn't an issue for us, as we always have the seat in the rear position. Over the summer, the car also developed an intermittent rough idle when the engine is warm. Under acceleration and while driving, it is fine. But at a stop light, the idle isn't always super smooth. I haven't been able to spend the time necessary to check for an arcing plug wire, vacuum line issue, or maybe something with the optispark? Maybe the throttle body Mass Air sensor need a thorough cleaning? It hasn't irritated me enough to spend the weekend troubleshooting, but the new owner may want to invesigate.
$5,000. Cash only, please. Call Jeff if interested. No trades, please.
