Vehicle Description
Update 10/1: Includes factory jack, spare tire and tire chains.
For sale is our 1995 Ford Escort. I've owned since 2007, bought from a college student. Runs great, looks a little rough since our daughter swiped a power pole on a dirt road. No structural damage, she still drives it every day to work. The hood, roof, and trunk lid have been painted with white bed liner because the old paint was peeling off. Tires are about 50%. I've always ran Royal Purple motor oil and changed the oil every 5,000 miles. Tranny has been flushed and runs Redline synthetic. I've changed the tranny filter and the fuel filter twice over the 110K miles I've owned it. Air conditioning still works! Some service history since I've had it, (and I have a folder of receipts, including the original owners manual and warranty card:
New front window
Rebuilt head
new radiator, thermostat, electric fan
all new struts
new rear trailing arm links
new steering links and ball joints
recent catalytic converter and O2 sensor
recent water pump and cam belt/tensioner
new power steering hoses
front brake calipers and pads
drive belt
heater core
Spark plug wires
Front drivers side electric window regulator (took two years to find on Ebay!)
The bad: ok, its 25 years old and worn, buts its been well taken care of.
Electric front seat belt motors don't work
Left rear electric window doesn't work
Only one speaker works
Front CV joint boots are cracking and starting to leak a little grease
Great teenage beginner car. All three of my kids learned to drive on this car, and now they've all gone off to college. I no longer need 4 cars, time to pair down. Thanks for looking. show contact info
