Vehicle Description
1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2WD
Clean Body and great running engine, but it has a slipping trans, a weak battery and needs tires.
The good:
=======
- Clean title and currently registered
- The body is in absolutely excellent shape with zero rust.
- Inline 6 cylinder Engine runs great
- I would be willing to drive it to your location if we make a deal.
- Rear end just completely rebuilt with new axle seals and bearings, carrier and pinion bearings and seals, and backlash was set per the manual. There is no noise from the rear end.
- Comes with a stereo amplifier, but it is disconnected.
The bad:
=======
- Battery needs replacing
- Tires are worn
- Trans has started to slip in drive and reverse, but works fine in 1st or 2nd positions. Since it is fine in some gears it is possibly just a band adjustment, but I don't want to mess with it. However, it still drives fine if you start in 1st and then shift to drive. I have driven over 200 miles with it doing this with no change.
- Something is leaking water into the passenger footwell, probably the heater core. This led to some mold when it sat. I cleaned most of the mold up and have the vehicle drying out.
