Vehicle Description
Though some would argue that summer is the best convertible season, I'd argue that fall on the eastern side of the Sierra is the best" warm (not hot) days make for comfortable driving. This car is the absolute best for day trips to Tahoe or longer drives to the coast.
This SL has always been garaged and very well maintained. It runs great and all the convertible functions work as they should. A quick flip of a lever and the hard top releases so you can take in the sun. In the event of an afternoon thunderstorm just flip the same lever and up comes the soft top. The car comes with a clean CarFax report, clean Ca. title and all its original manuals.
Condition: The car looks really nice cosmetically speaking. There are minor body imperfections but no crash damage or signs of abuse. The paint is shiny and clean and just received a full clay treatment and wax. The wheels are the upgraded chrome version with no bad curb marks. The tires have most of their life left in them.
The leather interior is clean and rip free. The dash isn't cracked and all gauges and such work as they should. The seat belt light flashes and the mechanic thinks it's just a sensor in the buckle itself. The stereo is currently inoperable; it comes on but doesn't display correctly or produce any sound. The pop-up rollbar works fine and the accessory windscreen is intact in the trunk. All in all, the car looks good, drives well and with its low mileage, should be a dependable and fun car for many years to come.
