Used 1996 Camaro Z28/SS (reduced) for sale in Moncks Corner, SC
Camaro SS production was halted in 1972 and not resumed again until 1996 when GM outsourced production-line Z28's to a company called Street Legal Performance (SLP) to install performance and cosmetic upgrades to create the new Camaro Z28/SS (like Ford did with the Mustangs they sent to Shelby for modification). Approximately 2270 of these were produced in 1996, all of which were serialized via a plaque on the interior console, key fobs and identified on the SLP Alteration Package sheet for each car. This car is serial number 50.
The car is in mint original condition, except the front bumper cover and hood were repainted by a previous owner due to road rash, window tint, and the dash top was replaced with a reproduction unit from Classic Industries due to cracking. Leather interior is in mint condition and all gauges, radio, CD player, A/C, windows, seat, etc. function as new. 350 cu. in. LT-1, 305 hp, 4-speed auto trans. 4 new tires with less than 1k miles. Car is tight, no rust, rattles, squeaks, leaks, no dents, scratches or paint chips. Underside of car is as clean as topside.
Included with the car are copies of the original window sticker, SLP Alteration Package sheet, original owners manual, supplemental SLP owners manual, various 1996 Camaro Z28/SS dealer literature and a custom car cover.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the car, just losing interest.
Asking $9,000 obo.
