Ill probably regret it.but I've decided to sell my 1996 GMC Sierra SL shortbed truck. Need the money for something else. Has 199k on the odometer.but has a recently rebuilt 4.3 V6 and also rebuilt automatic trans. Never lowered.c notched.long spring shackles or any of that stuff. This truck drives and rides great. Very few mods from stock.has an aftermarket radio and a K&N filter in the airbox. Has an expensive header and stainless after cat exhaust system. I think the original owner spent $1400 or so years ago for that. Original paint.never been hit. A few small dings here and there but presents itself well. Needs a good detail job to be the best it can be. Doesnt seem to have ever been used for work as its not beat up. Original optional aluminum wheels with off road type tires. When I got the truck the check engine light was on.it has to be something dumb like a sensor or something because the truck runs great. I installed a new alternator some months ago so it cleared the computer when I disconnected the battery. Took it by the smog place and he said the egr and catalytic monitors are still open. So smogging will be on the buyer. Needs a few things due to its age.hinge pin bushings on the driver's door are bad.door sags when you open it.also the plastic door handle in the driver's door is loose. Still works fine.its plastic and needs replacing. Have receipts going way back.including copies of the original window sticker. I think I'm the 3rd owner.tags expired Aug of 2021. Was told its on non op.clean CA title.
