Hi all. I’m selling my SL500. Very solid car, elegant and sporty. Lots of looks.
Mechanic’s special: Last month the throttle valve actuator went out. Actuator sits on top of the engine. My mechanic confirmed this is only issue. It still runs/drives, but it’s in what my mechanic called “limp mode”. I’ve decided to lease instead of fixing.
The car is a convertible. It has 3 options. Hard top, no top, & soft top. The hard top comes off (no leaks). Cloth convertible top hydraulics need fixing if u want the soft top up. I’ve never needed the soft top up.
No rust.
Antenna needs fixed.
A/C blows super cold.
Factory BOSE sound system is amazing.
All electric windows/seats work.
2 original keys.
New floor mats.
Very clean interior, but leather seats do show wear on bottom part.
New battery.
Factory alarm system works.
Complete a few small cosmetic fixes, replace the actuator, because it’s a really great car. Lots of life lift. These SLs are quickly appreciating in value.
The SL passed smog in Nov, fully registered until May, 2022.
