Vehicle Description
This is a basic, no-frills All-Wheel-Drive, 5-speed (manual/stick-shift) 1996 Subaru Legacy Outback station wagon that is mechanically really sound. The engine is the venerable 2.2-liter bullet-proof 4-cylinder that doesn’t leak a drop of oil and has a great reputation for longevity and fantastic fuel economy!
We bought this car a couple years ago for our college-age son who was living in Ellensburg for safe winter driving. We put a set of brand new Michelin tires on it and he installed a Kenwood stereo in it. He has since bought himself a pickup so we are now selling the Subaru.
The paint is okay on it, but the pictures don’t really show how the clear coat has peeled off much of the car. It isn’t super pretty, but it is a solid, reliable car that will give you years of service. If that’s what you’re looking for, come check it out.
