Vehicle Description
Toyota Tacoma Hunting Truck
Up for sale is a hunting truck that I built a few years back. It’s a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with a 2.4L 4 cylinder and automatic transmission. It has a custom-built bed with dog boxes, gun box, storage, high seat, and water tank. It has 33’ Trxus MT tires on it. The rear differential has some sort of spool or locker on it with low gears. It has a nice sound system in it so that you can listen to music inside or outside the vehicle (volume zones are independently controlled inside the vehicle). It is painted inside and out with liner xtreme spray on bedliner. AC and Heat work great. Runs like a top. The truck is not currently street legal (needs blinkers and brake lights wired) but would be easy to do if you want. I trailer it everywhere when I’m hunting, so I didn’t have a need to fix that. I’ve driven it on the highway to and from work several times without issue. 155,860 on the body/frame. Engine would be around 80k based on what the previous owner told me when I bought it but there’s no way for me to confirm that. The guy that had it before me replaced the engine out of a newer taco. Runs like a top. I have the title in hand. Looking for $6,000 OBO in DFW.
Here are the extras on it:
Helwig helper springs
Timbren rear SES
Wet Sounds sound bar
Pioneer GM-D8604 amplifier
Pioneer TS-SWX2502 subwoofer
Clarion M505 Boating Receiver
Front, rear, and side LED lights
Here are the new parts I’ve installed:
Exhaust (old exhaust was loud so I replaced it all)
Spark Plugs
Plug wires
Rotor Cap
Rotor Bug
Thermostat
Upper/lower radiator hose
Intake Air Temp Sensor
Battery Terminals
Door handles and locks
Rear View Mirrors
Ignition Switch
All 4 shocks
Front piston calipers
Front rotors
Front brakes pads & hardware
Rear leaf springs
