Vehicle Description
Car has been in the family since purchased new in 1997 and only has 73,143 original miles. The body and interior are in great condition. Unfortunately, a dishonest mechanic who was supposed to check the engine for a minor issue ended up taking the transmission out and demanded $2k to put it back together (it was taken in for a minor hesitation which only happened one time). My brother passed away before he could get it taken care of and I have decided to sell the car, if I can get the right price for it. I have been told all of the parts for the original transmission are with the car or a replacement transmission can be obtained from the junk yard for $400.
The car has been garage kept almost the entire time it has been owned and has 4 brand new tires which cost $800. It has black leather interior and a Bose stereo system with a 12 CD unit.
