Vehicle Description
This could be long so bare with me. I want you to know what you are getting. I wanted to build a quality street tuner car that not a lot of people try to take on as a project. But i have taken it as far as i can. Im trying to buy a piece of land. So here she is looking for a good home. The car all in all is in great condition. Minor defects. Couple spots of rough clear coat on roof, passenger window roller handle is gone, I'm sure a few other little things. So it needs someone that understands what it is and what it needs to finish it. If they want to. I know it's not some super special car but there aren't a whole lot left in good shape. And especially one that is sick and fast lol. This is the last year they made it. They only made 500 manuals in this color. Granted it's not stock anymore and any performance build is at risk of failure. But i know we did a thorough quality engine build. I want you know everything i know about it and what we have done. It could be a great project if you want a beast in the garage that you take out here and there. It has new CV axles, new center axle, all new engine/trans mounts, new tires, built engine, king bearings, molnar rods, wiseco pistons, springs, lifters, valve job, ARP head studs, heavy duty ACT clutch, deleted emissions, no A/C we needed room for the turbo. It is a distributor ignition (It needs a stand alone ecu, coil on plug setup to get it where you can tune it and get the most hp from it) we were hoping for 300+ eventually. It also needs an intercooler and piping. We have it running direct. That's another reason we dont get on it. Want it to break in properly. But we have tested it. It runs good. The exhaust needs finished all the way back. Its about halfway back. I had to have a custom shop make me a down pipe off the turbo in stainless. It runs about 4' back. So you will need someone that does stainless work finish it. It comes with 550cc injectors if for if you get it tuned. It has a oil catchcan. We had to use the dip stick tube as a crank vent. So we have a rubber hose running into a plastic bottle as a vent/oil catch. You can make a better setup. It was temporary. You can still use the dip stick. It's under the hood. Kinda cool. It runs good on 9psi. Thats what the waste gaste spring is. There is a boost control there but not hooked up. Easy to do so. Dont want to run too much boost on fresh untuned engine though. Probably a bit lean I'm sure. Plugs are a bit light. Idle is iffy due to no tune. But it really does run great. I put a lot of time and love into it. Was not a slap together engine build. I white gloved that thing lol. It has less than 100 miles on it since we started it. I have treated it very well since the build. We used a zink additive for the initial break in and have changed the oil twice just because. Wanted it rinsed of any breakin metal. I have $6500 into it. Let me know what you think. I'm happy to share anything I know.
