Used 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 for sale in Torrington, CT

I am selling a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is a 4.0 liter 6 cyl. engine. Automatic transmission and 4x4. This is fully loaded with 10 way power seats, leather interior, power windows, doors, mirrors, factory keyless entry and security, 6 disc CD changer, infinity premium sound system, factory fog lights, alloy wheels etc. This is a good running daily driver. 4x4 works great, transmission shifts smooth, all the windows work. Heat is hot, A/C is cold. Steering is tight and responsive.

This Jeep has low miles for the year and has been very well maintained. The tires on it are basically new. I bought them brand new and have only driven it about a thousand miles since. The muffler/exhaust is brand new in the last 200 miles. I had replaced the Catalytic converter and both oxygen sensors with OEM spec ones a couple years ago. It is current on emissions with no check engine or any other lights on. The paint is showing it's age and 1 fender has a dent (pictured) but otherwise, it is still very presentable. The body is solid except for rust on the inside of the rockers in the typical spot. But otherwise underneath on the frame/sub frame areas is all solid. Axle and spring mounts, control arms/mounts, brackets and all that stuff is solid with no issues. I have sprayed the underneath with fluid film every year I owned it before winter, so that has helped keep the rust at bay.

The interior cleans up nice and it runs and drives great. This is currently registered and insured and I drive it pretty much daily. The only reason I'm selling is because it is currently my 3rd vehicle and I don't need it. It is not perfect by any means but is a great winter vehicle and has the good transfer case in it (not the problematic AWD one) and the legendary 4.0 straight 6. I could easily see this Jeep lasting another 100k miles. This is not a $900 woods beater or something that needs a ton of work. It's a good daily driver. I have a clean CT title in my name as well as CT bill of sale ready to go. It is turn key and ready to drive on the road. Register it and drive it home the same day.
