Vehicle Description
Listing my 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport 4.0 FOR SALE!
We bought this Jeep 3.5 years ago and immediately started having it worked on. It has only a couple hundred miles since we got it back this fall and honestly we lost interest a long time ago. Our loss is your gain. Over $12,000 invested since we bought it.
It has a hard top and full doors. It’s not perfect, but it’s probably one of the few that you won’t have to deal with any rust on. Because we’ve already dealt with it all for you!
Some of the highlights… I’m sure I’ll leave a lot out as I’ve lost track.
4” Lift - unsure what brand. It was on it when we bought it. My research suggests pro comp but I can’t be sure.
The Frame was rebuilt by a local fabricator from above the rear wheels to the transfer case. This includes rear spring buckets. Very impressive job.
Additionally, the entire floor was replaced with a floor kit which included the supports.
As well as…
-Body mounts all replaced
-All new lower control arms
-All new shocks
-Front sway bar quick disconnects
-Rear sway bar was deleted, but we still have it as well as brand new quick disconnects for that as well.
- Body armor/ tube fenders, rocker guards all the way around.
- 33x12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrains (200ish miles)
- LED taillights
- Raptor-lined Tub
- plugs, wires, cap, rotor all this summer.
- new fuel pump
- all pads, rotors, shoes, drums, and brake hardware.
I’m sure I left out a lot. It’s not perfect and it needs a few more odds and ends. There is quite a large dent in the rear gate. It needs a brake cable equalizer to hook up the park brake ($30). It needs the cable-style transfer case linkage due to the lift kit ($200). And it’s missing a radio.
EDIT: I’ve ordered the above mentioned things that are missing. Among some other odds and ends to make it more complete. Price reflects that.
I’m not looking to negotiate. I’m taking enough of a loss at this price. Cash only.
