Vehicle Description
1997 Jeep Wrangler sport 4x4
Dana 44 rear diff
Smog in hand
Pink slip in hand
This is an excellent jeep. Very capable, in great condition. I intended to keep this forever, but I just had my first child and I realized that if I ever wanto go outdoors again I need something with more seating. The things we do for kids!! Please be aware that this is a salvaged title. This has been my daily driver, as well as our outdoor adventure vehicle. I dont like having a vehicle with anything that doesn't work, so I have put a lot of effort into making this a clean vehicle.
-4.0 6 cyl engine runs excellent.
-3 speed automatic transmission rebuilt 2019 by Rapid Transmissions, new torque converter
-Rear differential Dana 44, 4.56 gears, limited slip, new bearings/seals/clutch pack <---- This is the Differential you want. There aren't many of them out there with this diff. This is a Dana 44 out of another TJ (not a rubicon, so it has the thicker axle tubes). This was difficult to find!
-Front differential Dana 30, 4.56 gears, all new bearings/seals
-New a/c works amazing!!!
-4inch skyjacker lift
-pro comp 33" MT tires with 50% of life
-3/16" custom built steel plate bumper with winch
-custom rear bumper with tire carrier and back up lights. So bright!
-Warn m8000 winch with synthetic rope
-Lower windshield flood lights
-new paint job, "Rescue Green" from newer J/K models
-interior spray on bed liner
-new seat upholstery
-Soft top with tinted windows
-Bikini top
-new bluetooth stereo with speaker bar and new speakers
-Brand new stainless steel header with exhaust wrap to keep under-hood temps down.
-Flowmaster muffler
-Heat shield on fire wall to keep heat out of cab. You could drive this barefoot (gross!) and not feel any heat
-New radiator and thermostat (done when the a/c condenser was replaced)
-New bosch fuel pump (not the cheap autozone junk)
-I have a new Poison Spyder add-a-cage weld on roll cage - not yet installed
-Instrument cluster replaced at approx. 145,000 miles. New (from salvage yard) cluster showed 87,500 miles when installed. Current reading 98,158. Total current miles = 155,658
Cons (things that I haven’t fixed yet)
-Intermittent Heater blower control power loss
-some fading on dashboard/door panels due to using bikini top
