Collector car, never driven in winter weather, 102,000 miles. Driven in summer for road trips, driven in winter once a week for 20 miles only in dry weather and clear road to keep all moving parts free of rust. Only rained on three times in 10 years. No rust – I mean none! Took car to auto body shop that is owned by an auto collector and seller. He charged me $2,200 to tune up and bring up to new condition. Copy of work done is provided. Very little work was needed but the labor cost to thoroughly check everything was the reason for the $2,200 billing. I now had a car I could drive 100,000 miles. At my age, 84, this car will be my last.
I bought a bigger, higher and heavier truck. It has 26 different buttons on the dashboard. I have this newer vehicle for three months and am still learning how to use it.
