Used 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS - cars & trucks - by owner -... for sale in Ames, IA

I'm selling my two-owner '97 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS after 4 years of use. This has been my car during college and I've kept great care of it. Issues have always been addressed as soon as they've popped up and oil has always been changed on time. I've never had problems with it starting even in freezing temperatures and it sitting for a few days. It has gotten me to and from Illinois numerous times doing 80mph on the highway as well as multiple 10+ hour road trips.

I will be straight with you: this car runs pretty rough. Under heavy load or going up hills, the engine will stutter and the car will shake. The check engine light on in the photos is for the throttle position sensor (never had a problem in the 4 years I've had it). I recently took it to Ron's Auto Repair in Ames and they said the car is solid mechanically; any issues the car has are all electrical, and I don't have the wherewithal to bother fixing it. It would be a great car for around-town driving; however, I would be skeptical about taking it on the highway or towing with it.
