1997 Mustang GT with 2001 4.6 2v PI engine and t3650 trans
Chassis has 161k, engine and trans have just over 100k.
Car runs and drives fine if you can get it to start, seems to be stuck in anti-theft mode and I can't get it out so it refuses to crank/start despite having power. Could be a very fun cruiser with a little more time and effort put into it, but I just want it out of my driveway for now
Paint is grabber blue, but was done either at home by an amateur or done at the nearest Maaco for cheap- there is overspray, chipping, and rough spots.
Mechanically the car is pretty sound.
When I bought the car, it was delivered to me with a near empty tank, upon filling it up I realized there's a gas leak in the rear. I suspect it's just the grommet between the filler neck and gas tank, but haven't dropped the tank to diagnose further. But otherwise nothing obvious in need of repair.
