Vehicle Description
Well loved Subaru Legacy Outback. Selling for $1000 OBO.
New engine put in ~40,000 miles ago.
New All Season Tires replaced ~10,000 miles ago.
Replaced Transmission and Clutch in 2016.
Recent Oil Change
Head Gasket and Timing Belt are good.
258,000 quality miles and she is still going strong.
Overall the function of this car is great.
It runs really well but has a few cosmetic problems that can be easily fixed if you care to do so:
The windshield is cracked
The AC needs repair
The center panel seems to have an electrical issue (no radio or music until fixed, and the charging plug doesn't work)
Paint is deteriorating in places
Weak Headlights
I recently took it to a mechanic for a presale inspection for a list of minor mechanical fixes. Mainly, this car will need new front brake pads. There is a slow oil leak, this hasn't been a problem, but I do have to be conscious of the oil level and add a quart every ~2000 miles. The right lower ball joint is loose.
Please reach out with any inquiries of questions.
