Vehicle Description
1997 EUROVAN CAMPER FOR SALE
$30,500
143,000 miles
WV2EH8706VH139983
This reliable and well-maintained van has a 2.8 6 cylinder gas engine, 4-speed automatic front-wheel drive transmission, electric windows and locks, and the GoWesty lift conversion. The conversion and 16” wheels make those forest roads more accessible and won’t bonk your propane tank over each bump. This van gets about 18mpg and in classic VW style it is a bit slow on the uphills but easily can do 75mph on the straightaways.
This full camper version is built with the Winnebego package including a 3-way fridge (propane, 12volt dc, and 120v ac), 2 burner stove, sink with 12 gallon fresh water tank, 8 gallon grey water tank, rinse sprayer at rear hatch door, auxiliary propane heater, new inverter, and auxiliary battery.
Plenty of storage with 2 drawers, toiletry cabinet with vanity mirror, 3 shelf cabinet and a double slider closet. Netting on the side next to the down bed is a great place to stash your phone or nighttime read.
The van sleeps 4 (depending on how many dogs you have) with with one bed up top and one down below. Rear row of seats has 2, 3 point seatbelts for safety. There are 2 tables that can be set up for cooking, eating or game playing. These work great with the bench seat and when two captains' chairs are swiveled around when camping.
The third-row bench seat is included and can be bolted in when extra transportation seating is needed. This is great for transportation but gets in the way when camping.
A/C works great and has been well maintained.
New heater core ensures that you will stay warm on those cool autumn trips.
300# 1” hitch for bike rack.
Window privacy coverings
Includes full set of manuals for vehicle and Winnebago components
I am also including the OMBD2 scanner that gave me great piece of mind when far from home (you will have to download the app, its free)
Under my watch, for the past 5 years the Van has been cared for by Campers Northwest/Eastside Autoworks in Bellevue. There have been many repairs and improvements made over the years, perhaps too long to list here but I have all service records dating back to 2011. And you are welcome to chat with the folks at Campers Northwest about the van's condition.
I purchased this van, Sunny, as we called her, in 2018 and I have cared for, and invested in, this van assuming I was going to pass it on to my child. But life changes and even bigger and better adventures are now in our future! The van is clean, well-maintained, and mouse-proofed. There is some residual adhesive remaining from old bumper stickers on the rear gate, a few non-essential parts that due to age and supply chains make it hard to find (water/propane level monitoring system for kitchen), and a non-essential intermittent fault code (mechanic has advised to ignore). Still, I have done my best to keep it in proper working order and ready for adventures.
WA registration good through January 2023
PS It really is white, that was late day wildfire lighting. If you'd like more images just ask. I was rushing to get them done between the smoke and the rain.
