Used 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis $1500 OBO for sale in Carpinteria, CA

This car has been my daily commuter for about six months now. I recently purchased a 240sx which is why I want to sell the Grand Marquis. The car is by no means perfect, however it isn’t a bad ride. I am the third owner of the vehicle, the man I bought it from told me it was in an accident when it belonged to the first owner, but he fixed it.

Pros:
-The sound system is loud, AUX/USB/AM/FM Radio. The car also has a hookup for a subwoofer, I don’t know if this works since the previous owner installed it and I never have tried to put one in. (It has enough bass)
-Interior of the car is in good condition, all leather, very comfortable.
-New set of tires. I have the matching rim in the trunk of the car, I just haven’t gotten around to putting the tire currently on the spare steely rim onto the matching rim.
- AC blows very cold.

Cons:
- The engine makes a knocking noise.
- The brake light in the car comes on and off, not sure why. Brakes work fine.
- When I go to work in the morning, the rear end sags down. Once the car is started, the air ride suspension compressor kicks in and raises the back again. No issues with ride quality.
- Sometimes the blinker flashes too quickly, then goes back to normal.
- The heater does not work all the time.
- Windshield washer fluid leaks.
- Cracked Windshield.

The car could use some work, I originally paid $1800 for it and have put about 20,000 miles on it. The current price is $1500 for the car but I am flexible on the price. Text me @ show contact info - Jake
