Mercury Sable LS.
This car has been held together with love over the years. Nearly everything has been replaced. It still starts and runs well, is rather fast. This car will hit 70 before the entrance ramp for the interstate finishes usually.
The muffler was just replaced. New tires & brakes last year and few miles since then. New struts/coils & Rack/Pinion replaced three years ago.
It leaks a bit of power steering fluid, but never enough to get me to fix it. I waited until it made noise.. filled it.. keep some in the trunk but usually only filled it at home about once a month. It leaks some radiator fluid -same story - I keep some at home.
Does not have air conditioning, but does have heat. Power locks, power windows, and keyless entry remote.
Reliable car for someone who can add oil every 500 miles and keep an eye on the power steering fluid and radiator fluid.
