Vehicle Description
Real SHOW STOPPER here!
1998 Toyota Camry LE, gold. It's been in my family for the last 17 years. This car has been a absolutely reliable daily driver up until the last year. I purchased a new vehicle and it's time to finally let this one go.
Car runs and drives great. Will need two new tires pretty immediately. Tire size is 195/70R14 if you want to price those out. The car does, and has for a long time, leaked a small amount of oil from the rear main seal. I have just always checked the level on a consistent basis and added oil as needed between changes. Interior is still in great condition. Seats really only have some staining. No ripping or excessive wear. Carpet could use a shampoo just to get the few stains out. Plastics and dash are still in awesome shape. Car has a Kenwood head unit (no bluetooth and no tape player) and two JBL door speakers up front.
Head gasket was replaced about three years ago. Along with every other gasket and seal on the top end (mine as well do it all while its apart). Immediately after replacing that, I drove this car all the way to California and back, no issues whatsoever. It has easily been one of the best cars our family has every owned. The radiator and CV axles have also been replaced. She will need some new struts at some point in the future. They still function, but I can tell that the car sits lower than it should. The car did get damaged in Hurricane Dorian. It has a dent in the roof and the windshield has cracked. There is no leaking due to the roof dent, but the windshield will definitely need replaced. I do have a replacement for the missing/broken door handle on the passenger side. Just haven't had the time to replace it.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see other photos.
